I'm a fantasy artist working on concept art for my characters in an upcoming comic series.It is a fantasy set in the distant future. Long after humanity's rise and fall, in a new era of exploration through civilizations akin to modern day with a fantasy/sci-fi twist, the descendants of magic users must rise to the cause and protect their world.They will travel through man-made mountains, frozen geysers that pierce the sky, the technological ruins of humanity's past, and across realms beyond the mortal coil. Arin

Arin is a young man who grew up with his adoptive sister, Ashley in a mountainside town on the Ignis continent. Together, they work on a ranch that their parents had worked on before them. He grew up as any kid in the area would until he hears a voice calling out to him in his dreams. With Ashley's help, he heeds the specter's instructions and hikes the mountain until he finds the source of the voice, that being the ghost of a young woman. The ghost, Yona, is freed and explains to Arin a destiny that he must play a part in. He inherited powerful magic from his ancient ancestors and must awaken and use it to protect his world from a calamity 12,000 years in the making...He can be aloof at times, and relies on Ashley's confidence to see his own actions through, but when push comes to shove, he is reliable and great at thinking on his feet. If only he could find a balance between being childish and serious.

Ashley

Ashley is a headstrong ranch-hand and Arin's older sister in every way except by blood. She is naturally good at any new skill she tries, and she radiates confidence. It is this confidence that Arin has admired since the day she saved him when they were children; the source of not only her strength, but his too.She does not have the same magic in her blood that Arin and their friends have, but it doesn't hold her back in the slightest. She still proves every day that she can keep up, and even outperform them.

Yona

Yona is a special messenger; a ghost from 12,000 years in the past who was put to sleep until the day came to find the descendants of earth's five ancient protectors. They were powerful magic wielders and treasured friends of hers, having dedicated their lives to protecting and guiding humanity in the place of guardian gods long past. It is her job to find the people who carry their blood.In this new age, multiple millennia past the time she once lived in, she has trouble finding her way. She is a product of the past and a ghost of her former self in every sense of the term. With no memories of her past life apart from details that have to do with her duty, she journeys with Arin, Ashley, and Poppy in search of a way to remember her life and her death.

Poppy

Poppy is a young bunny girl from a woodland town on the northern border of the Somex continent, south of Ignis. This peculiar community is built up of mostly people with animal-like physical traits. Orphaned as a baby when her family home was burned down, she drifted from household to household in the community until she was old enough to take care of herself. She built a den by the remains of her old home, and taught herself to hunt and fish.She is a spunky girl with attitude and is always enthusiastic when to comes to she perceives as an adventure. When she had a chance meeting with Arin and Ashley, she quickly bonds with them like she never did with the others in town. After some time together, she became like their little sister, and the trio became inseperable.
